Gladys Clark talks about the yellow cotton she plants and picks then hand wove to make placemats. She grew learned this trade from her mother. She explains what part of the cotton plant to pick and what part to discard or leave behind. She demonstrates the process of seeding the cotton ball through combing the cotton until it is nice and long and able to be rolled. At this stage Clark can use the cotton to make hand woven placemats. Host ask why yellow cotton was not popular. Clark explained that there are varying opinions.
