Donna McGee Onebane Collection

Oral history and fieldwork donated in 2005 by American author and folklorist Donna McGee Onebane. The initial donation was composed of audio recordings of family interviews and the first interviews conducted for her book, The House that Sugarcane Built: The Louisiana Burguières, that details the history of the family and sugar business of the J.M. Burguières Company. Additional audio tapes and research materials were donated in 2020.
