The Modernaires, 1953. L-R: (Bottom Row) Bernard Hebert, Hugy Mitchell, Jimmy "Scat Man" Patin, Dan Daigle, Earl Comeaux, (Top row) Jimmy Hebert, Ernie Suavez (Roy Perkins), Phil Comeaux, Rusty Gilder
One of the first big bands to play swamp pop music. Rusty Gilder went on to play with Pete Fountain, Count Bassie & Dizzy Gillespi.
Dan Daigle went on to play with Les Brown, and the Stan Kenton Orchestra. Backed up Roy Perkins on song "You're on my mind"
