Donations to the Archives

The Research Division accepts donations of materials, including non-commercial recordings and fieldwork-generated items, that further our mission of preserving Louisiana's cultures and history. We work to preserve a variety of media, including audio, moving image (film and video), still image, and printed and paper materials, along with objects associated with material culture.

We welcome the opportunity to discuss a donation of your collections to the Center. Please contact John Sharp for further information or to make an appointment. You will need to fill out an acquisition form to accompany your donation, and we will go over copyright and accessibility concerns with you when the material is received.
